Girls Ministries: Every Wednesday Night @7pm
Why just for girls? Gender specific ministry is crucial for developing girls into women of God. Girls are faced with so much confusion and temptation in their daily lives, but in a setting catered to girls they can connect with each other and an older mentor who can invest in them through Bible study and activities and help them grow in their faith and discover the answers to the questions they face.
Girls Ministries is about intentional outreach and Christian discipleship for girls. We provide resources to teach girls biblical truths that will help them learn to make God-pleasing decisions, to see every girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to empower girls to realize their importance and potential in the kingdom of God. We seek a future where girls and leaders — through mentoring and discipleship — form lasting, life-changing friendships.
Our society becomes more complex by the day! We live in a time when the lines between Godliness and lawlessness seem to become more and more blurred, giving rise to confusion and raising questions we may not be equipped to answer. As parents and leaders we have the responsibility to be a source of sound information and encouragement to our girls. “Train up a child in the way he(she) should go: and when he(she) is old, he will not depart from it. “ Prov 22:6 (KJV)

Boys Ministries: Every Wednesday Night @ 7pm
Royal Rangers is a mentoring program for future men. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment. Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. We provide an effective means of discipling boys by utilizing direct personal relationships between men and boys, developed around a core of shared interests and experiences. Activity-based ministries are essential to the spiritual development of boys. Our program is defined by the core principles upon which it was built. These core principles of evangelism, discipleship, leadership, achievement, and service are represented by our pledge, code, motto, and emblem.
Our Mentoring METHODS
Boys will be boys! They are God-designed to be assertive, competitive, and energetic. Our experienced mentors provide needed guidance, discipline, and structure, using the methods described below.
Friendship
Our mentors are committed to insuring friendship charges our ministry atmosphere. Boys develop lifelong friends in Royal Rangers and meet wholesome men, who will affirm them and who they can look up to.
Activities
Royal Rangers is about hands-on adventure and side-by-side relationship building. It's how boys learn and relate best. Beyond the fun, boys discover they have what it takes to be men as they spend time with mentors outdoors, in the gym, at the computer, on the service project site, or on the stage. Royal Rangers provides boys with fun activities in five areas of interest, which we refer to as our "core competencies": Outdoor Activities, Sports, Trade Skills, Technologies, and Arts. Many activities in Royal Rangers involve earning merits, which are awards based on the development of skills in one or more of these core areas.
A complete list of the merits used in Royal Rangers can be found on our Merit Index page.
Advancement System
In Royal Rangers, boys and young men are challenged to embark on an adventure that requires them to participate actively. It is a spiritual journey that will forge their character and maximize their leadership potential. To the uneducated eye, boys are just learning survival skills in the wilderness, playing sports, producing a music video, repairing the home of an elderly person, etc., but in the process, our mentors are intentional about laying biblical foundations of sexual expression, worldview, culture, manhood, and leadership. By awarding merit badges, boys are guided on a measurable, personal, and spiritual growth process.
Interactive Learning
Personal development in Royal Rangers is all about hands-on fun and getting dirty! Boys learn by hearing, seeing, doing, and when appropriate, teaching others. It's learning by doing.
Uniforms
Boys want to belong! Royal Rangers gives young men who want to band together to serve Christ wholeheartedly that place of belonging and an image and identity of which to be proud.
Patrol System
Young men want to influence and try their wings. Guys-only small groups allow boys to have fun together, share responsibility for leadership, learn teamwork, and grow spiritually.
Service & Ministry Outreach
"It's not all about me!" This is a lesson boys learn in Royal Rangers. Meaningful opportunities are provided for young men to move beyond themselves to help others, instilling attitudes and behaviors of lifelong servants.

T F S M: Every Wednesday Night @ 7pm
Our mission is Win, Build and Send students for the cause of Jesus Christ. This is a biblical mandate and model for youth ministry. Win, Build & Send is the three-part CAUSE of the Lord Jesus Christ...it is disciple-making through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in allowing the Holy Spirit to move freely through powerful worship and the Word Of God. When Jesus called the first disciples, he said, "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." (Mt. 4:19, NIV)
* "[Come] follow me" - WIN, the call to be a follower of Jesus Christ
* I will make you" - BUILD, the call to become more like Jesus
* "fishers of men" - SEND, the call to continue Jesus' mission.
Our goal is to CONNECT students with:
* God - key to an authentic faith
* Family - key to a lived-out faith
* Church - key to a perpetuating faiths
* Christ's cause - key to a meaningful and rewarding faith
At First Assembly Of God, it is our goal to CONSTRUCT BIBLICAL DISCIPLINES in students. Jesus taught that disciples love God first and love others as themselves (Mt. 22:37, 39). We teach five values of Jesus that characterize such love:
1. Pray regularly (in the Spirit)
2. Live the Word
3. Tell the story
4. Serve people
5. Give generously
God is moving in such a powerful way in our services and we would love to have you give us a visit.

Chosen: College and Career: Sundays @ 9:30am
We are present and future leaders that will not bow to status quo or tremble in face of adversity. We were bought with a price, are not ashamed of our faith in Jesus Christ, and know that greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world.

LIFEGROUPS: Sunday Mornings @ 9:30am
Sunday School is a ministry which continues to be the most popular forum for a systematic study of God’s Word in the church.
It is an essential disciple-making strategy of First Assembly Of God. It has proven its effectiveness by teaching biblical principles and Godly living to people at every age and stage of life. In order for Sunday School to remain effective in the 21st century, the Church must both reaffirm and retain the essential elements of this disciple-making strategy while also developing flexibility to address the diverse discipling challenges of our fast-paced, pluralistic culture. Therefore, the Division of Christian Education has written a functional definition of Sunday School by which we stand upon at First Assembly Of God.
It is as follows:
The primary purpose is obedient response to the Great Commission: Making disciples who will fulfill the threefold mission of the church —evangelism, worship, and discipleship.
The primary strategy is the intentional, systematic, development of leaders who can carry on the work of the ministry in the local church.
The primary curriculum is the Bible supported by appropriate teaching resources.
The primary process is regular (preferably weekly), systematic teaching of Bible content and doctrine.
The primary dynamic is the building of relationships that involve mutual commitment and accountability.
The primary structure includes a full range of groups, developed with a sensitivity to culture, needs, and/or interests

Women's Ministries (WM's)
Today like never before, women are hurting. They are overwhelmed with responsibilities and inundated with the stress of life. Many come from unhealthy and dysfunctional backgrounds that have left them ill-equipped to handle life's pressures. Due to heavy responsibilities and dissolving families, many women feel isolated and lonely.
When a woman walks into a church, she is looking for someone to care, encourage, and listen to her—she desperately needs the Body of Christ. She wants to know that she is not alone, and she needs the hope that a personal relationship with Jesus can provide.
The mission of First Assembly Women’s Ministry is to touch the lives of women by the transforming power of Jesus Christ, discipling them to follow His example, and training them to minister to others. Our Purpose is to Reach women through the transforming power and love of Jesus Christ, Disciple them to follow Christ's example and live overcoming lives, to Build wholeness and balance, both spiritually and mentally, through consistent prayer and study of God's Word, to Provide an atmosphere for women to develop their gifts, abilities, and lasting relationships, Training them to find their places of ministry and effectively touch their world for Christ, making an eternal impact on their family and community.
Our ladies meet every Tuesday morning @ 9:30am for Prayer and Bible Study.
Also, every first Tuesday of the month they meet @ 7pm for a time of fellowship, Praise and Worship, and Bible Sudy.

Men's Ministry: Prayer Breakfast : 2nd Saturday Of The Month
Men’s groups are not about having a club or a guild (people with common interests or goals); it’s about integrating men into church. It’s about camaraderie, affirmation, personal development and spiritual growth.
According to churchformen.com,
* A significant number of church-going men attend out of habit, unaffected by what they hear.
* Quite a few men go to church simply to keep their wives/mothers/girlfriends happy.
* The majority of men who attend church do nothing during the week to grow their faith.
* Relatively few churches are able to establish or maintain a vibrant men’s ministry.
Men are different. The common perception is men are self-reliant, don't feel, don't touch, don’t need fellowship, are too macho and are very competitive. At Honorbound Men’s Ministries of First Assembly Pensacola, we are challenging men to connect in fellowship with one another while pursuing a powerful relationship with Jesus Christ recognizing that “iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17), to strive to grow in their faith and relationship with the Lord becoming a solid Disciple of Jesus Christ, and to reach out to other men in their family, at work, and in their community presenting the life-changing Gospel of Christ and the hope He brings in this life and in eternity.
